The blue ridge mountain side of Virginia sets the perfect backdrop for the regulars of the Renegades of Dirt Modified Tour presented by Arizona Sport Shirts as they battle it out this Saturday night June 14th at Fred Brown’s famed dirt oval in Rural Retreat, VA. Fans of the speedway are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the tour as racers from at least six states will once again converge to do battle for valuable tour points this weekend.

After 45 years of promoting the speedway events like this still get me anxious to just be a fan and enjoy the big show” stated track owner, Fred Brown. “We are hearing of cars from all over planning to attend. I was able to take in a Renegade show early in the year and I can tell you first hand it’s something you don’t want to miss, we hope to see a big crowd this weekend” added Brown. “We are even keeping the admission price at an affordable $15 dollars for our regular race fans to witness the stars of the dirt modifieds without paying a high dollar show price” concluded Brown.

From start to finish the tour prides themselves on the great racing action and a family atmosphere.
